Merrill DataSite Reports 30 Percent Increase in $1 Billion M&A Transactions Completed in Q1 2010
Company Experiences Record 40 Percent Increase in Total Page Volume, Indicating Increase in Due Diligence Scrutiny
NEW YORK, NY, April 27, 2010 — Merrill DataSite, the leading provider of virtual data room (VDR) solutions for business communication and information management, today released first quarter 2010 figures indicating a 30 percent increase in billion-dollar M&A transactions completed in 2010, as compared to the same period 2009. The company also reported a 40 percent increase in the number of pages exchanged within its datarooms during the period.
The Merrill DataSite report indicated total domestic M&A volume for Q1 2010 in excess of $9 billion, comprised of nine $1 billion-plus transactions, compared to seven completed during the same period last year. Read more >>
