Datasite Wins Gold Best in Biz 2021 Award

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Aug. 19, 2021 – Datasite®, a leading SaaS-based technology provider for global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) professionals, was today recognized as the gold winner of Enterprise Product of the Year – Financial Software by Best in Biz Awards 2021 International, the independent global business awards program.

Despite last year’s global pandemic, Datasite was recognized for its ability to continue to innovate, including delivering three new applications that use advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, to solve problems that have troubled dealmakers for years and help them close more deals efficiently and effectively.

“Datasite’s product managers, designers and engineers worked exceptionally hard last year to deliver new, sophisticated software apps that help dealmakers accelerate and improve outcomes across the entire M&A deal lifecycle,” said Thomas Fredell, Chief Product Officer at Datasite. “Receiving an award like this from peers who test and review products and solutions every day is immensely rewarding and validation of the impact our software is having on the M&A market.”

The Best in Biz Awards honor companies and products across a range of categories and are judged by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier global publications, including Bloomberg News, Data Breach Today, HTMAG (Israel), Huffington Post, NDR (Germany), Panorama Magazine (United Arab Emirates), Small Business IT (Canada), and TechRadar (UK).

Dealmakers in more than 170 countries make their deals in Datasite, including 74 of the top 100 legal firms and all the top 20 global financial advisory firms. In 2020, Datasite facilitated half of the top 10 largest deals in the US.

In addition to this award, Datasite has also been recognized this year with a pair of bronze Stevie® Awards for Large Computer Software Company of the Year, and FinTech Solution for its Outreach™ application. The company also received Singapore Business Review’s Technology Excellence Award for Fintech – Mergers & Acquisitions, and was named a BIG Innovation Award Winner.
