Deal Drivers: APAC Q3 2022

In partnership with Mergermarket

Through 2022, a sense of caution has set into M&A markets worldwide. In APAC, deal volume is down 25% compared to the same period last year but still holding strong relative to the Americas or EMEA.

All major economies are expected to shed growth momentum over the next 12 months under inflationary pressures and tightening monetary policies. APAC countries are no exceptions. It continues to be a challenging environment for dealmakers to navigate.

How much time will it take for conditions to stabilize? Will M&A pick up again soon and can there ever be a repeat of 2021’s dealmaking bonanza?

Find out how APAC M&A is performing and learn about sectors that look encouraging for dealmaking activity from our Deal Drivers: APAC Q3 2022 report.
