Datasite Wins 2021 Brandon Hall and Stevie Awards

M&A Leader Recognized as a Great Employer and Exceptional Leader Through the Pandemic

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – August 30, 2021 Datasite, a leading SaaS (software as a service) provider for the M&A industry, has been awarded a pair of silver medals by the 2021 Stevie® Awards for Great Employers and the Brandon Hall Excellence in Human Capital Management Awards. The company was named an Employer of the Year in the Large Computer Software category by the Stevie Awards, and Future of Work: Best Advance in Leading Under a Crisis,  by Brandon Hall.

Datasite was cited for the way it effectively and efficiently transitioned its entire workforce to remote work in March 2020, including introducing several new policies to help employees manage work-life balance, such as adding additional days to recharge, outside of standard sick or vacation time, and its support of employee health and well-being, including providing wellness resources for all employees throughout the pandemic.

Brandon Hall also noted the company’s clear support for equality, and efforts to ensure its Minneapolis-based employees remained safe during the unrest stemming from the murder of George Floyd, providing immediate assistance in some instances.

“We’re honored to be recognized for leading with empathy and successfully navigating our people through a challenging year,” said Datasite Chief Human Resources Officer Deb LaMere. “Datasite is a fast-growing, nimble software company that continues to attract and retain exceptional talent because we create and maintain a culture that is flexible and makes employees feel connected and seen, so they give their best work.”

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world's best companies to work for, and the HR teams, professionals, achievements, new products, and suppliers that help to create and drive great places to work.

The Brandon Hall Excellence in Human Capital Management Awards recognize the best organizations that have successfully deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems, and tools that have achieved measurable results.
