Datasite’ s Deb LaMere Recognized as 2022 CHRO of the Year

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – May 4, 2022 – Deb LaMere, Datasite Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), has been recognized as 2022 CHRO of the Year- Mid-Market by HRO Today, according to Datasite, a leading SaaS-based technology provider for global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) professionals.

Presented by HRO Today, the CHRO of the Year Awards, honor chief HR officers, who have made an impact on their organization and community, by driving workforce initiatives, demonstrating measurable excellence in employee engagement and retention, and taking a risk in pursuit of these aims. 

LaMere, who joined Datasite in 2019, is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s human resources strategy, including talent management, leadership development and compensation and benefits. She works closely with the company’s leadership team to build a culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent. Under LaMere’ s HR leadership, Datasite’ s employee base has increased by 22% between FY2021 to FY2022, while revenue has risen 33% from FY2021 to FY2022

Dealmakers in more than 170 countries make their deals in Datasite, including 74 of the top 100 legal firms and all the top 20 global financial advisory firms. In 2021, Datasite facilitated more than a third of the top 100 global deals, including a third of the top 60 US deals, and close to half of the top 25 EMEA deals.

Datasite executives have been recognized for numerous other awards in the last 12 months, including a Gold Stevie Award for Senior Sales Executive of the Year and a Bronze Stevie Award for Customer Service Leader of the Year.
