  • The top deal of the month: China There Gorges (Europe) SA (CTG) of Luxembourg, ultimately owned by Chinese state-owned China Three Gorges Corp, launched an unsolicited tender offer for the remaining 76.59% interest in Portugal electric power distributor EDP Energias de Portugal SA.
  • Morgan Stanley currently leads the Asia Pacific & Japan-involvement announced M&A financial advisor ranking with a 33.6% market share.
