Am I under any obligation to participate in research?

Absolutely not. This is a voluntary program, and we appreciate your participation. Take part in one survey or all of them. It’s up to you.

How many requests for research will I receive?

You’ll receive no more than two requests a month.

What kind of research do you perform?

We ask for participants in surveys, telephone interviews and, occasionally, in-person interviews.

What kinds of questions can I expect?

Questions to better understand market trends, opportunities and challenges. Your answers help us to continue developing market-leading products to make your deals easier. You’ll also get the chance to test our solutions and messaging. Be the first to let us know if we’re hitting the mark and delivering what you need.

What do I get for joining?

You get the chance to take part in our Datasite Insights webinars, seen by thousands of your peers globally. You get a badge for LinkedIn to publicly acknowledge your M&A thought leadership. You get updates on relevant peer insights from our research. And we’re adding more benefits all the time – it’s our way of saying thanks for your help.

Do I need to be a Datasite customer to participate?

You don’t need to be a customer; you only need to be active in the M&A deal-making process.

What do I get for participating in a survey?

Take part in our research and you’ll earn points. You can spend those on gift cards, or nominate a charity and we’ll donate to them on your behalf. If you have any other ideas for ways to spend points, we’re always looking for suggestions.

What titles or roles do you accept?

Whatever your title. Whatever your role. We want to hear views from a broad range of M&A professionals in law firms, corporate development, investment banks, and private equity. That gives us a greater perspective on how we can help you achieve more.

What if I want to opt out?
