Shareholder activism, an NYC rooftop and DatasiteOne

Merrill DatasiteOne NYC launch mixes shareholder activism and customer awards with perfect summer night

Abby Roberts, Director of Merrill Insight™ | July 02, 2018

Guests mingled on a gorgeous summer night for the NYC Merrill DatasiteOne launch event at 230 Fifth Avenue on June 21. DAK Group and Cain Brothers both won customer awards as the first two advisor clients with projects on Merrill DatasiteOne, with JLC Infrastructure earning the private equity prize and Bank of Montreal (BOM) taking the top spot for best customer feedback for product development.

Before moving to the rooftop deck, Doug Cullen, Merrill’s Global Head of Marketing, gave out the awards and introduced Merrill’s guest speakers: Jim Rossman, Managing Director, Head of Shareholder Advisory at Lazard, who sat for an exclusive Q&A with Dennis Berman, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and Managing Director also in the Lazard Advisory group.

After the Q&A and awards ceremony, Cullen gave a champagne toast on the rooftop deck and the festivities began!
