  • Top deal of the month: Takeda Pharmaceutical Co Ltd of Japan agreed to acquire the entire share capital of Shire PLC, an Ireland-based manufacturer and wholesaler of pharmaceutical products, for an amended US$76.9 billion (including net debt).
