APAC League Table October 2019

Merrill Corporation and Refinitiv bring you the latest APAC M&A updates, as well as a list of the month’s top financial advisors. Highlights:

  • Asia Pacific & Japan deal making activity for thefirst ten months of this year, totaled US$835.2 billion, a 30.1% drop in value compared to the same period last year. This is the slowest January to October period since 2014. 
  • In contrast, October recorded the second highest monthly deal activity this year, accumulating US$97.3 billion in value from a little over a thousand deals. M&A deals targeting the Industrials sector captured 17.7% of the region’s activity, worth US$148.2 billion.
