The M&A market in Latin America registered a total of 166 mergers and acquisitions in April 2021, between announced and closed, for an aggregate value of US$ 1 1.197,05 million.

In the first four months of 2021, Latin America registered a total of 786 mergers and acquisitions - a 17% increase compared to April 2020.

In terms of deals carried out YTD, Brazil had the highest number of deals, followed by Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Argentina and Peru.

In terms of value, Brazil again was first, followed by Argentina, Mexico, Chile,Colombia and Peru.
