There were 243 M&A deals in July 2021 in Latin America, totaling US$7,453 million.

In the first seven months of the year, there were a total of 1,722 transactions with a combined value of US$87,071 million, representing a 36% increase of in the number of transactions and a 176% increase in their value, compared to July 2020.

Brazil was the most active country in the region, with 1,169 deals. Mexico was second, with 190 deals- a 199% increase YoY.
