The M&A market in Latin America had 180 mergers and acquisitions in May 2021, totaling US$ 8,215.43 million.

In the first five months of 2021, there were 1,050 M&A transactions, 26% YoY increase. Brazil had the highest number of deals, followed by Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru.
