Jill Christie's practice is focused on U.S. capital markets and corporate finance transactions.

Clients benefit from her experience of representing sponsors and underwriters in connection with international securities offerings. These include a number of award-winning and landmark transactions that were firsts within their respective markets. Jill also has experience of representing clients in senior and bridge acquisition facilities.

Jill is chair of the White & Case Global Women’s Initiative Committee, and since 2019, Jill has acted as Vice Chair of the High Yield Division of AFME (the Association for Financial Markets in Europe).

Mrs. Briant was part of the team that established CapVest in 1999. She is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. Mrs. Briant currently chairs Curium, and Inspired Pet Nutrition, and is a Board Director of Polaris. She was formerly Chairman of Scandi Standard and Reno Norden, and was a director at Valeo Foods Group, Vassan & Vassan and Mater Private.

Prior to the formation of CapVest, Mrs. Briant worked with Mr. FitzPatrick at BT Capital, where she played a prominent role in a number of successful investments. Before joining BT Capital, Mrs. Briant worked in Bankers Trust's structured finance group, where she executed several project financings across Europe. Prior to Bankers Trust, she worked for 5 years in the Financial Institutions Group at Deloitte & Touche in Johannesburg, South Africa. In total, Mrs. Briant has 28 years of relevant experience, 23 of which has been in private equity.

Mrs. Briant is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.  She holds a bachelor of commerce degree with honours from the University of Cape Town.  

Laura is a senior member of the European Leveraged Finance team at Goldman Sachs, managing debt financings for Technology, Media and Telecom, Financial Institutions, Consumer and Retail as well as Real Estate companies in EMEA, including leveraged buyouts, corporate transactions and structured financings. Previously, she was on the Dutch Advisory team for three years.

Laura joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 as an analyst and was named managing director in 2015. Laura earned an LLM in Dutch Law and an MS in Economics from the University of Amsterdam in 2004 and 2005, respectively.

Nertila Asani is an international sales professional focused on M&A in London, leading a team of over a half-dozen sellers. Working with advisors at Investment Banks, Law firms, PE companies and corporations, Nertila and her team represent industry-leading SaaS technology to facilitate multinational M&A deals.
