Summary:
I had this client recently—he works for one of the Big Four consulting firms in Spain. The firm had done plenty of projects with us before, but this was his first time using Datasite. He’d used competitors’ platforms, so he more or less knew what to expect.
As part of the Project Pro team, my job is to understand a client’s initial input, challenges, concerns, roadmaps—all of that. And one of his biggest struggles was handling documentation: who should upload content, when to upload it, how to organize it, how to maintain control.
I quickly discovered he was managing everything in an extremely inefficient way—emails back and forth with different stakeholders, Excel sheets floating around, etc. That’s where trackers came into the picture. I immediately thought, “Okay, this is exactly what he needs.”
So during my platform demos, I focused heavily on trackers and tailored the examples to his situation. And he absolutely loved it. He had never seen anything like that before—especially the way Trackers integrates with documentation, access levels, user management, and the overall control it gives clients.
Long story short, he ended up building a set of five trackers. And to this day, the project is still active and running smoothly. He’s uploading and reviewing content daily in a secure, efficient way that’s saving his team a ton of time.
