Corporate finance professional and principal with 20+ years of experience from global M&A and strategic development from SEB, China International Capital Corporation and  A.P. Møller – Maersk.

Karl is a Managing Director at Bank of America Securities (“BofA”), based in Stockholm and responsible for BofA’s Nordic M&A advisory.

Karl has advised on over 90bn (USD) of Nordic M&A, including some of the largest and most complex transactions in the region.

He joined BofA in 2009 and holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Finance (“Civilekonom”) from Stockholm School of Economics.

Merlin Piscitelli is Chief Revenue Officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Datasite.

In his role, Merlin is responsible for setting and managing the sales strategy and its deployment across this diverse and complex region, including coordinating and managing teams and sales representatives across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is based in London.

Merlin has been driving the M&A digital transformation in EMEA since joining Datasite in 2006. He has served in several leadership roles within the organization, including Head of Sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Director of Sales, helping drive technological innovation and deal velocity across the region.

Prior to joining Datasite, Merlin served as a sales and business development professional for Infotrieve, now part of Copyright Clearance Center, a global licensing technology content solutions business and document delivery provider. 

Merlin holds a BS in Business/Marketing from Florida State University.

Experienced and award-winning editor and journalist with a history of working in national media and corporate communications, including thought leadership. Skilled in editing, copywriting, storytelling and news writing in both long and short form. Excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge and understanding of business and finance. Graduate of City University (Department of Journalism) and the University of York (English and Related Literature).
