Marta Frąckowiak is a Partner at DLA Piper in Warsaw and for 5 years an Elected Member of the firm’s International Board. She has over 20 years of experience advising clients on private mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and restructurings, and complex commercial matters.

Marta is widely recognised for leading high-value, cross-border transactions and for her strategic insight in navigating complex, multi‑jurisdictional deals. She advises both strategic investors and private equity sponsors across the full transaction lifecycle, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and post‑transaction reorganisations. She plays a pivotal role in client relationship management and the development of the firm’s corporate practice.

She has extensive experience advising clients across a broad range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals and healthcare, defence and aviation, manufacturing, consumer goods, technology, and media. Marta has particular, in‑depth expertise in advising companies from the defence and aviation industries on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters.

Stanislaw Sawczyn is a Managing Director at Rothschild & Co and Head of Central and South Eastern Europe. He has over 24 years of industry experience, having joined Rothschild & Co in 2000.

Stanislaw holds a degree in Management from Law Department of Adam Mickiewicz University.

Investment professional with 18 years of experience. Proven track record in sourcing, executing, and integrating cross-border transactions across Europe, with extensive experience in buy-and-build strategies, value creation planning, and post-merger integration. Currently leading M&As at Symfonia, a private equity-backed B2B application software company, supported by Accel-KKR and MidEuropa, after senior roles in PE portfolio companies (Oaktree Capital, TA Associates). Began career at Rothschild, Advent International, and UniCredit.

Maciej is a Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance at Erste Bank Polska supervising M&A and ECM advisory. He has over 20 years experience in investment banking and corporate finance in Poland and Central Europe working on both sell-side and buy-side projects; advising Polish entrepreneurs, private equity firms as well as Polish and international strategic investors. Prior to Erste Group, he worked at Santander CIB, Vienna Capital Partners, KPMG and SocGen.

Marek joined MidEuropa in 2017 and is a Partner based in the Warsaw office. He is responsible for deal sourcing, execution, and monitoring of investments, and is a member of the Investment Committee. At MidEuropa Marek covers technology and business services sectors and has been involved in a number of transactions including Symfonia, Intive, Displate, Allegro, and Diagnostyka. Prior to joining MidEuropa, Marek worked at Novator Partners and at J.P. Morgan (TMT IB) in London.

Marek holds a Master’s in Finance & Accounting from Warsaw School of Economics and is a licensed Investment Advisor (Doradca Inwestycyjny).

Ewa is a business development and sales executive with 15+ years of experience across Central and Eastern Europe. A trained lawyer, she has built her career at the intersection of finance, advisory, technology, and M&A.

Since joining Datasite, she has led the company's expansion in the CEE region, launching operations in Poland in 2021 and establishing Datasite as a trusted virtual data room provider. Today, she partners with M&A advisors, corporates, private equity firms, and law firms, helping them execute complex transactions through technology-driven solutions.

Markus is Head of Continental Europe at Datasite. Since 2017, he is leading the Frankfurt office and is responsible for expanding Datasite’s footprint across the DACH, Central & Eastern European markets.

Prior to joining Datasite, Markus held various roles in the financial industry, including Sales Manager Europe at Trading Technologies and Account Manager at Thomson Reuters. In 2016, he also co-founded the technology start-up Evo Fintech.

Markus holds an Executive MBA from Purdue University (USA) and brings extensive experience at the intersection of technology, finance, and sales.
