How do data rooms work?

Data rooms are cloud-based file-sharing platforms with advanced security features. The proprietor of a data room can invite other users to it and grant them access, often with varying degrees of permission – for instance, some users may have access only to particular folders or files. The proprietor (often known as the Project Admin) can set and adjust the permissions of other users, and so control access to all the data room’s contents.
