CESR
Definition:
The Committee of European Securities Regulators. CESR is an independent committee of regulators established by the European Commission to improve cooperation among securities regulators, to advise and assist the European Commission, and to implement community legislation in individual EU Member States. The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) replaced CESR on January 1, 2011.
