Competent Person’s Report

Definition:

In the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom, the Competent Person’s Report refers to a report prepared by a duly qualified specialist on an issuer’s assets that is published as part of the Prospectus. Typically, a Competent Person’s Report is required for mineral, oil and gas companies and real estate companies.
