Hart-Scott-Rodino

Definition:

The Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976. A US statute that requires an investor to file a form, the premerger notification report, for any transactions valued at or above US$119.5 million. The federal government then has 30 days to respond.
